ABILITY LEVELS

Level 1 - Grizzly

01

I have never been on skis or I have tried skiing but can not stop yet.

Level 2 - Moose

02

I have been on skis before and can stop using my snowplow by myself. I would like to learn to turn and link them together.

Level 3 - Cougar

03

I can stop and link "S" turns but I have not been on a chairlift before, I would like to build the confidence to ski green runs off a chairlift.

Level 4 - Marmot

04

I can link "S" turns and have been on green runs using a chairlift. I would like to get my skis more parallel through my turns so I can start to explore more of the mountain.

Level 5 - Beaver

01

I can ski mostly parallel from the start of my turns and have been on blue runs, but I use my pizza / snowplow on steeper runs. I would like to ski full parallel at the start of my turns, even on steep blue runs.

Level 6 - Lynx

02

I can ski fully parallel on all blue runs and some black runs. I would like to begin exploring some off piste runs while mastering my parallel skiing on all groomed runs.

Level 7 - Bighorn

03

I can ski fully parallel on all groomed runs and have tried some off piste skiing. I would like to continue learning and take my parallel skiing to varried terrain, bumps and the glades, while also increasing my speed and performance on groomers.

Level 8 - Wolf

04

I can ski varied terrain and bumps, fully parallel and with confidence. I would now like to try expert bump and glade terrain with more speed and flow. I would also like to explore getting air and freeskiing on natural terrain.

Please be aware that whichever level you book if you find it difficult to balance over, or turn to your toe edge we will begin with an introduction or refresher of how to balance over the toe edge in level 2.

Level 1 - Grizzly

01

I have never been on a snowboard or I have tried snowboarding but can not stop yet.

Level 2 - Moose

02

I have snowboarded before and can stop by myself on my heel edge. I would like to learn my toe edge and "S" turns.

Level 3 - Cougar

03

I can link "S" turns on both edges but have not been on a chairlift. I would like to build the confidence to ride green runs off a chairlift.

Level 4 - Lynx

04

I can link "S" turns on both edges on green runs using a chairlift. I want to learn to control my turns and speed so I can explore more of the mountain with confidence.

Level 5 - Bighorn

05

I can "S" turn on blue runs, controlling my turns, my speed and line with flow. I want to learn new skills to ride faster, carve more and build confidence on steeper runs. I would also like to try my first black run.

Level 6 - Wolf

06

I can "S" turn on all groomed runs and have tried some off-piste trails. I would like to continue learning to take my riding to varied terrain, bumps and glades while also increasing my speed and performance on groomers. I would also like to explore getting air and freeriding on natural terrain.
